Donald Trump’s presidency is going to be a four-year, neverending shriek of terror the likes of which we have never seen and may never see again — but Alec Baldwin returned to Saturday Night Live to at least make us laugh about it.
Recently, Donald Trump came back from a meeting with President Obama unpleasantly surprised that the job is actually hard. According to the Wall street Journal, Trump was “surprised by the scope” of his duties and found himself forced to crawl to Barack — the “worst” President ever according to The Donald — for help in figuring out what this whole Presidenting thing is all about. The cast of Saturday Night Live
The cast of Saturday Night Live imagined what Trump’s disaster of a transition effort must look like, with The Donald furiously Googling phrases like “what is ISIS” and coping with the fact that his Big Beautiful Wall™ will waste billions of taxpayer dollars.
Ultimately, after realizing he was in over his head, Baldwin’s Alec Trump looked at Mike Pence and asked “You’re gonna do everything, right?”
The sketch is hilarious and just the distraction we need from the ever-present feeling of crushing failure that increases daily as Trump’s inauguration approaches, but it’s important to remember that it was revealed during the campaign that Trump actually planned to delegate all foreign and domestic affairs to the virulently anti-gay Indiana governor (or whomever would end up Vice President) while The Donald focused on “making America great again.”
Not so funny now, is it?

John Prager is an unfortunate Liberal soul who lives uncomfortably in the middle of a Conservative hellscape.
Prager spends much of his time poking Trump’s meth-addled, uneducated fans with a pointy stick and is currently writing a book of muskrat recipes (not really) as well as putting together a scrapbook of his favorite death threats. His life’s aspiration is to rule the world with an iron fist, or find that sock he’s been looking for.
