Trump supporter and conservative commentator Ann Coulter said on Tuesday that she should be put in charge of deciding who is allowed to enter our country, joking that she would run immigration like Tinder.
During an interview with Business Insider, Coulter said that reforming immigration to meet her standards would be “simple.”
The whole thing can be solved so simply if he just puts me in charge of immigration, which I would run like Tinder.
How would she determine who is allowed to enter the United States and who gets turned away? (This is where is gets really good.)
They’ll send me everyone who wants to immigrate here and I’ll decide them all before breakfast. I know they find it very complicated — who’s to say, who’s to say? No, Ann will say.
And I’ll be right. I will do it on looks, IQ, height — oh, and speaking English.
Coulter as been a staunch supporter of presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and has advocated for him and his policies strongly. She has said that she would be more than happy to hold some sort of a position in Trump’s administration regarding immigration reform if he were to be elected. But she added that if given the preference, she would much rather head up the Federal Communications Commission so she would have to power to regulate the media. (shudder)
When asked about Trump’s flip-flopping stances on abortion in April, Coulter said that she was more concerned with keeping all those rapey Mexicans out of the country since that’s why we have abortions here in the good old USA anyway.
“I think I’d be a lot more upset that women are going to get a lot more abortions if we don’t close our border with Mexico and bring in all of Latin American rape culture,” she told MSNBC.
As a side note, Coulter also insisted that she has never actually used Tinder.
