An Arkansas elementary teacher just inadvertently disproved the “All Lives Matter” mantra conservatives tout on social media and at political events. A Gosnell Elementary School teacher is facing backlash after making a controversial post on Facebook which reads, in part, “your life doesn’t matter” if you’re a Black Lives Matter protester.
“Run their a** over and take them to jail,” the teacher, who we have identified as Wesley Ann Thomas, wrote in reference to the BLM protest in Memphis in which a bridge was shut down for hours.
“Y’all better thank the lord I’m not on the bridge because I would be shot acting a fool,” Thomas’ post read. “If you are stupid enough to act like a fool on a bridge then your life doesn’t matter… So jump in the damn river and do us all a favor.” She also declares that the black protesters are jobless. We do not know how she got her psychic abilities.
“Don’t like my language…sorry I can’t handle ignorance so feel free to delete me,” she wrote just before protecting her account.
The media apparently did not wish to release her name. Wesley, a mother of three, is a Trump supporter. The school teacher refused to apologize and instead, said if people didn’t like her post, they could “delete” her, according to WREG. Welp, apparently Ms. Wesley has pissed off the Internet with her violent post because she has made her page private now. We could say she deleted herself.
Apparently, her life is worthless, too, since she feels that Idiots Lives Don’t Matter.
A Facebook user found the image below which was supposedly shared by Wesley – although, we cannot confirm that. The thing this educator doesn’t get is, the protests aren’t about hate. The protests are about the public witnessing two separate instances of police officers murdering black men. Good cops are the best, but police reform is necessary. That is, if you aren’t a bloodlusting racist. We wonder if Ms. Thomas realizes that some cops do drugs, too. Funny thing about drugs, addiction shows no bias. Addiction isn’t prejudiced like she is. It affects the rich and the poor, the old and the young, and virtually every profession — even teachers.
Wesley’s husband, Kelly Thomas, has a Facebook page which isn’t locked down. He’s also a right-wing “Christian” who posts anti-Hillary Clinton memes about Benghazi!, Benghazi!, BENGHAZI! Ms. Thomas, according to her page, is a second-grade school teacher who “likes” Donald Trump and shares articles from Fox News.
“When you’re a teacher, you’re supposed to have grace. No matter what color your skin is, you have to have grace to even teach these babies,” Michelle Turner, a mother of one of the students said.
According to WREG, parents and staff members aren’t too pleased with the teacher’s crazy-time Facebook post. “I don’t want someone with hatred in their heart to be teaching my children,” said Turner.
School leaders said they know all about the post so WREG went to them for answers.
The school district wouldn’t release the teacher’s name or even confirm she works at the school.
(See above for her name.) However, they did say the post is being reviewed.
Parents who were concerned over the post have also filed an official complaint with the Arkansas Department of Education.
There’s a dozen lessons the teacher can learn from this. For one, you can’t simply delete posts from the internet after you’ve just pissed off the internet. For another, if you post something on social media, other people can see it. We’re wondering why WREG protected the teacher’s identity, after all, she was proud of her post.
