Bristol Palin just said something so stupid her future grandchildren feel stupid.
On Saturday night at a rally in Reno, Donald Trump was whisked away by Secret Service agents because his supporters accused a guy of having a gun, which is rather hypocritical considering conservatives want everyone to carry a gun everywhere.
As it turns out, and has been repeatedly reported, the so-called “assassin” was just a Republican supporter of Hillary Clinton who was trying to hold up an anti-Trump sign. He was released shortly after Secret Service talked to him and no gun was ever found because one didn’t exist.
But the facts didn’t stop Bristol Palin from posting on Twitter that there was an attempted assassination against Donald Trump on Sunday morning.

The problem is that there was no actual threat. Just a bunch of paranoid Trump supporters who wanted an excuse to beat up a protester.
And a Twitter user was quick to school her for it.
@BristolsBlog You know it was already confirmed that there was no threat, right? The problem was that one of Yours yelled there was a gun

Clearly, Bristol Palin does not watch the news because if she had she would know that there was NOT an assassination attempt. It’s all just in the small paranoid fear-driven minds of conservatives who refuse to accept facts.
With two days left before Election Day, Trump supporters are literally trying to convince everyone that the Republican nominee survived an assassination attempt in an effort to gain sympathy and votes.
This is a Republican scam and it must not be allowed to work.
