Conservatives are in love with Chris Kyle. They can’t get enough. He was moved to join the military after the Twin Towers fell and became the most prolific killer of Muslims in American history. He wrote a book where he claimed he killed carjackers and scoped down looters from the top of the Superdome after Katrina. He’s everything the common right-wing ammosexual loves in a hero.
As it turns out, most of his post-war claims are a crock of shit. He even lied about how many medals he won. None of that matters to conservatives, who think he’s the grooviest no matter what because it doesn’t make a damned bit of difference if they included women and children, he killed a ton of Muslims.
Bradley Cooper, the actor who played Kyle in the movie American Sniper, became Chris Kyle by proxy to a slew of ignorant imbeciles. They figured because the actor was so enamoured with Kyle that he starred in a movie he produced about him that he must be a card-carrying member of club crazy. As it turns out, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Kyle is, in fact, a Democrat who donated to Hillary Clinton’s 2000 senate campaign and was spotted enjoying the Democratic National Convention. For Cooper, American Sniper was about a man he admired for his service and not politics. He once told The Daily Beast:
My hope is that if someone is having a political conversation about whether we should or should not have been in Iraq, whether the war is worth fighting, whether we won, whether we didn’t, why are we still there, all those (issues), that really—I hope – is not one that they would use this movie as a tool for.
So no, conservatives, Bradley Cooper doesn’t belong to you. You can, however, keep Chachi.
Here’s how the reaction to the news that Cooper was at the DNC as well as the pointing and laughing of Democrats played out on Twitter:
Bradley Cooper is promoting Hillary? Too bad. He's dead to me now. pic.twitter.com/gXJ4ahO8YK

Sometimes reality sucks. Unless your life doesn’t revolve around lies, then it’s just hilarious.
