Every intelligence agency in the nation has determined that Russia hacked the Democratic National Committee and then released that information via Wikileaks. The CIA and the FBI agree that the ultimate goal of this Russian interference was to land Donald Trump’s orange derriére in the White House.
Still, even after being briefed, he refuses to condemn Russia. Trump will remain loyal to Russia until the end. If you want to know why you just have to do what Robert Reich suggested: “Follow the money.” John Schindler, a reporter for The Observer, sent out a tweet on Monday morning pointing to reports by the Financial Times that revealed just how deep Trump’s Russian ties go.
According to Schindler’s tweet, after Trump had filed bankruptcy seven (yes seven) times, nobody in their right mind would lend him money. All his lines of credit were canceled. But Trump worked “hand in glove with Russian mobsters” to continue with his various real estate projects. And the funding for these projects came “almost entirely from Russian sources.”
In other words, after his business crashed, Trump was floated and made to appear to operate a successful business enterprise through the infusion of millions in cash from dark Russian sources. He was their man.
One of the FT articles Schindler links to in his tweet details Trump’s connections to Sergei Millian, who “was appointed head of the Russian American Chamber of Commerce in the US in 2006.” The former Soviet émigré bragged about his dealings with Trump in an interview with Russian state agency Ria Novosti in April this year.
Mr Millian told Ria he first met Mr Trump after “mutual acquaintances” helped organise a visit by the real-estate mogul to the 2007 Millionaire’s Fair in Moscow. Mr Trump invited him to horse races in Miami shortly afterwards, he said — a statement that chimes with the Facebook photograph he posted.
Mr Millian claimed Mr Trump then introduced him to Michael Cohen, the Trump Organisation’s chief legal counsel, who granted him rights to market Trump Organisation properties in Russia and the former Soviet Union. “You could say I was their exclusive broker,” he told Ria. “Then, in 2007-2008, dozens of Russians bought apartments in Trump properties in the US.” He later told ABC television that the Trump Organisation had received “hundreds of millions of dollars” through deals with Russian businessmen.
The FT article concluded with a disturbing quote from Konstantin Zatulin, head of the Russian parliament’s CIS affairs committee:
“While the west was playing with James Bond . . . we turned our attention to gaining respect,” said Mr. Zatulin. “When the west thought the cold war competition was over, they lost respect for their opponent. Now they are waking up to this again.”
Donald Trump is nothing but a Russian puppet who has been bought and paid for. Our soon to be president is Putin’s bitch, a mere pawn of the Kremlin. And it is absolutely terrifying.

April has studied political science, psychology, and philosophy. Back in the good old days she was a reporter for “old fashioned” print newspapers. In addition to news and politics, she also blogs about service dogs and disability advocacy. As a black woman with a disability, she is fed up with the right-wingers who would prefer that she and others like her didn’t exist.
