Overgrown man-child, Tej Gill, who claims to have been “close friends” with Benghazi victims Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, appeared on Fox News for a free 3 minute commercial promoting his new and stupid get-rich-quick scheme.
The product he’s huckstering is a t-shirt that says “Hillary Clinton killed my friends.”
Gill, who has an organization called “Project Warpath,” stole the idea from another right-wing idiot who created bumper stickers with a similar message, claiming that they had a “positive reaction both inside and outside of the SEAL community.”
Normally, I would describe Gill’s reasons he gave for justifying his merchandise, but I’m not going to do that. I’m not going to dignify misogyny. He’s just another deadbeat Republican who is looking for cheap fame and a get-rich-fast scheme to peddle to clueless Republican idiots who have too much money and too few brains, and he’s using Republican hatred of women as the method.
If ANYONE gave a sh*t about Americans dying in situations like Benghazi, there would have been absolutely massive outcries during the George W. Bush presidency from the 13 Benghazis that happened on his watch. In the end, not a single note of dissatisfaction with George W. Bush was offered up by any Republican ever.
It’s also worth noting that Gill spent a lot of time whining about the security at the consulate in Libya being “poor at best,” as he put it. That’s because Republicans cut hundreds of billions of dollars from funding to provide security. Congressman Jason Chaffetz, an extreme Benghazi fetishist among Republicans, admitted it and said plain as day that they didn’t consider it a high enough priority.
Did Gill care about this? Helllllllll no. There’s literally no Republican that actually cares about Benghazi. There just isn’t. I’m sick of giving them any benefit of the doubt. All they care about is hurting the first woman president because they are a bunch of “men’s rights activist,” sexist assholes who can’t stand the idea of a woman being behind the desk in the oval office.
They hate the idea that their armed services will be taking orders from a woman. They hate that so many Americans are fine with voting for a woman. They simply hate women, period. It’d be laughably pathetic if it was in a movie. Sadly it’s real.
And of course, Fox News ate it up with softball questions that were meant simply to promote the product by justifying its lies. They rolled out a robotic “news” correspondent who followed his orders and read from a teleprompter until the time ran out, as Gill won the award for “most undeservedly smug douchebag” on a cable news show.
