As Trump’s victory loomed French ambassador, Gérard Araud, tweeted a sobering condemnation of the U.S. election.
Calling The Donald’s victory the end of neo-liberalism and wondering what will replace it, Araud says that the combination of Brexit and the massive Republican victory is evidence that anything is possible — pigs can fly, Hell has frozen over, and the Chicago Cubs are capable of winning the World Series.

“After Brexit, anything is now possible,” he wrote. “A world is crumbling before our eyes. Vertigo.”
Shortly after the tweet was posted, it disappeared — but not before the Internet preserved it in all its magnificence.
What is frightening is that he is correct.

John Prager is an unfortunate Liberal soul who lives uncomfortably in the middle of a Conservative hellscape.
Prager spends much of his time poking Trump’s meth-addled, uneducated fans with a pointy stick and is currently writing a book of muskrat recipes (not really) as well as putting together a scrapbook of his favorite death threats. His life’s aspiration is to rule the world with an iron fist, or find that sock he’s been looking for.
