Ivanka Trump is feeling the burn of humiliation after ordering some jewelry from a company that hates everything she stands for. The 34-year-old daughter of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump recently ordered an $84 gold-plated (yes, that’s right, gold-plated. Daddy is probably so disappointed) Helix Ear Cuff from the indie company Lady Grey, but she got an extra little surprise in the box along with her jewelry.
Co-founders and designers Jill Martinelli and Sabine Le Guyader said they were surprised to get an order from Donald Trump’s favorite child so they decided to send her a note to thank her for her order. The note reads:
Dear Ivanka, Thank you so much for your web order! We’re happy to let you know that the proceeds of your sale have been generously donated to the American Immigration Council, the Everytown for Gun Safety organization, and the Hillary Clinton campaign. We hope you enjoy your new Lady Grey #helixearcuff. Best, Jill + Sabine.

When asked about the note, Martinelli explained why they felt compelled to send it:
The note was included in her package and shipped last week directly from our studio in Brooklyn. While we were flattered to receive an order from Ivanka Trump, our social and political views couldn’t be further from those of the Trump campaign. When we received her order, we instantly felt compelled to take the money and donate it to a few organizations that were more aligned with our ideals.
Poor Ivanka has been so muddied by her father’s presidential campaign that she can’t even order jewelry without being mocked. She has stood next to her father as he insults everyone imaginable –including women like herself — and never batted an eye. She’s probably the most visible member of the Trump Campaign other than Trump himself and it is taking a toll. What’s worse is that we can’t even blame it all on her dad because she’s a pretty shitty human being in her own right.
On the last night of the Republican National Convention, Ivanka stood on stage and promised her dad would stand up for women — even though she doesn’t do it in her own business. Reports soon surfaced that she only offers pregnant women 12 weeks of UNPAID maternity leave in her fashion business. One employee told the Washington Post that she was forced to drain her savings after giving birth to her child. That’s not all, though, she has also been sued for allegedly stealing the design for the shoes she makes.
She’s following right in her father’s shady ass footsteps, but at least we can all point and laugh at her for her jewelry fail.
