Two strange things happened before news of the FBI’s announcement about Hillary Clinton’s emails came out a few days ago. The first was that Jason Chaffetz flipped on his endorsement of Donald Trump yet again. He had reversed his endorsement right after the tape of Trump claiming to “grab women by the pussy” was released.
And yet, weeks later, he tweeted out news of FBI director James Comey’s letter to Congress, which said they’d discovered some more emails that may or may not relate to the previous investigation that’s already plagued Clinton’s campaign. Perhaps it was just good timing on his part to have renewed his support of Trump just as news was breaking that would keep the attention off his candidate. He then tweeted the next day informing his followers of the scandal.
But here’s the kicker: The letter that Congress received hadn’t been delivered until later that day.
