Melania Trump is trending on Twitter again and that can mean only one thing. She said something odd – something not quite believable. The cyberbully’s wife stressed that as First Lady (she’ll never be First Lady), she will take on internet bullies. We can’t think of a better start than with her own husband. She should lead by example. Amen.
“I will be an advocate for women and children… I’m a full-time mother to our son Barron, an incredible boy… I’m with our son,” the GOP presidential nominee’s wife said. “We talk a little bit about politics, and a lot about life, homework, and sports. Barron has many privileges and advantages. We know how fortunate we are.”
“I want my little boy to know that he’s blessed to be born in a country with… constitutional democracy…,” she said.
“We need to teach our youth American values. Kindness honesty respect compassion charity understanding cooperation…,” she continued without one bit of irony. By the way, her husband has mocked prisoners of war, people with disabilities, Mexicans, Muslims, blacks, and women.
Then she got to the part about the Internet.
Via The Guardian:
“as we know now social media is a centerpiece of our lives… technology has changed our universe, but like anything that is powerful it can have a bad side… as adults many of us are able to handle bad words… childrens and even teenagers can be fragile… they can be made to feel less in looks and intelligence
“our culture has gotten too mean and too rough, especially to children and teenagers…”
Trump, who riding the spearhead of the biggest coordinated movement of anonymous Internet trolls like, ever, including lots of Nazis, decries the scourge of insults dealt by “someone with no name hiding on the Internet.”
“We must treat each other with respect and kindness, even when we disagree,” Melania said.
Melania, look at your husband right now and say, ‘Delete your account.’ You can do it, girlfriend. We got your back. Maybe.
