There’s currently a heavily trending hashtag on social media called #TrumpWon. If this sounds odd to you, due to Donald’s complete failure last night while debating Hillary Clinton, you wouldn’t be alone. However, the reason for it is something you’re going to love. The hashtag was being used by Democrats to mock Trump and his supporters’ insistence that he won the debate.
Virtually all credible and semi-credible political analysts and commentators agree he lost. Not only did he lose but it was an outright disaster for Donald. This truth is invisible to both Trump and his supporters, who have jumped on to the tag after Donald retweeted it to give himself a congratulatory fluffing. These people are so clueless sometimes… or all the time, actually.
The reason that Trumpers think that Donald won is mostly because he told them he did, but some online polls are making it look that way as well. What the polls do NOT say, though, is that the only ones where Trump is winning are ones where you can jackhammer votes over and over as a single person to skew the numbers. Actual scientific polls, like the one on CNN, show Trump lost the debate by a very substantial margin.
If you’re thinking “But Trump doesn’t care about scientific things,” you’re correct. Neither do his supporters. But you don’t think that’d stop a guy like Trump from making an unaware ass of himself, do you?
The #1 trend on Twitter right now is #TrumpWon – thank you!

Trump re-tweeted his applause of it at 9:17am. By that time there were already oodles of retweets of the hashtag where liberals were making fun of Donald’s declaration that he won the debate. The Trump supporter responses are so clueless that the ingredient list for Twinkies would have more relevance to the discussion, so we don’t need to get into those here. However, the fact that Trump and his army of mental midgets have tried to co-opt the topic didn’t go unnoticed by liberals.
Trumpsters live in an upside-down world where Putin is a friend, bankruptcy is success, climate change is a hoax, ..and #TrumpWon

Just looking at #TrumpWon. I haven't seen this much denial since Dick Cheney was told he had a gay daughter.

The #TrumpWon hashtag just shows again that this election is basically a referendum on reality. We're voting on whether gravity exists.

I love that #TrumpWon hashtag is 90% people mocking the hashtag and 10% people who can't spell

#TrumpWon when he lied 16 times in the debate, repeating falsehoods that had previously been factchecked "pants on fire" lies

There are a ton of other responses which won’t all fit on here, but it’s definitely worth a read for some good humor. At this rate, if Trump was replaced with a cardboard cutout of himself they’d still declare he “won.” With a little luck, the future debates will be at least as entertaining as this one has been.
