If you’re going to insist that Donald Trump doesn’t run a racist campaign, you had better not do it on MSNBC. That’s just such a simple fact that it boggles the mind someone didn’t understand it. Regardless, one Trump spokesperson thought he would do it anyway and as you can imagine, it didn’t go how he planned.
Trump advocate Steve Cortes appeared on Joy Reid’s show and was under the wrong impression that if he just barked at her long enough she’d back down and let him dominate her interview segment on her own show. Boy, was he stupid. Cortes tried very very hard to make the case that not only is Donald Trump not racist, he’s actually been running an “incredibly non-racist campaign” as well.
I’ll give you a moment to wipe up whatever you were drinking that just shot all over the screen. He really did say it, though, and it went about as well as you can imagine. Just watch for the look on Joy’s face during his ranting where you know that she’s had enough of this guy. Trust me, you’ll see it.
