Remember when Donald Trump shared the Star of David meme on Twitter? His campaign tried really hard to convince everyone that the star was a sheriff’s star even though that made absolutely no sense in context of the rest of the meme. Oh and there was that whole it came from a neo-Nazi site thing that he and his campaign ignored, but you know, no big deal. Good times. Well, it seems as if Trump has gone and spread his hate for the Jewish people again, but this time he thought we wouldn’t notice.
Trump has started doing this thing where he holds up giant posters at his campaign rallies, like a sort-of awkward show-and-tell for his flock. Thursday at a Sunrise, Florida one of the anti-Clinton posters he held up came from a conspiracy theory website called Before It’s News. The poster featured Hillary Clinton’s face on a twenty dollar bill and listed countries that supposedly gave the Clinton Foundation money.
The poster he held up at the rally was an altered version of the original photo, however. Buzzfeed reporter Nathaniel Meyersohn did some digging and found the original image was shared by former KKK grandracist David Duke in July and it has a Star of David very prominently displayed on the $20:

During an interview on Reliable Sources, Sunday, the Trump Campaign was asked about his new anti-semitic image and senior communications adviser Jason Miller pretended he had no idea what CNN was talking about. Miller said he has not seen the poster but images are,“usually produced with our policy department.” That defense isn’t a very good one, though. Miller is saying that the campaign’s policy department thought it was perfectly acceptable to give Trump an anti-semitic poster to hold up at a campaign rally. Why would they think that was okay unless they espouse the belief that Jews are inferior?
Throughout Trump’s campaign he has shared neo-nazi imagery multiple times and each time he does it his campaign pretends they had no idea what the images meant. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton can’t even burp without being investigated and dragged through the mud. The hypocrisy has reached a surreal level.
