After spending years fighting so-called voter fraud and coming up with virtually no results, Republicans can now rest easily. They’ve been proven right — it actually does exist. Voter fraud was just uncovered in the 2016 election, so surely that means the story of this great conservative victory will be played and replayed on Fox News. Right?
Wrong! Republicans won’t be telling you about this. The reason why they won’t finally be doing the “I Told You So” dance is because the fraudster is a Trump voter.
Yes, Terri Lynn Rote is a registered Republican and was arrested for first-degree election misconduct. Rote voted twice in the general election, according to law enforcement. She voted once in Des Moines and again in a local satellite voting location near the first spot.
Something tells me that Donald Trump won’t be blabbering about this. If it was a Democratic voter, he wouldn’t shut up about it but since it’s one of his own, he’ll quickly change the subject if it’s brought up. Voter fraud? But what about Hillary’s email?!
And the first Iowa voter fraud case in 2016 is…

It’s up to law enforcement to decide if she was just too dumb to remember voting the first time, or this was done with intent. Being that she’s a Trump supporter, there’s a good chance it’s a bit of both.
Regardless, Terri proves the case that liberals everywhere have been making for years. Voter fraud is so incredibly rare that it can actually make the national news cycle. There are far worse crimes, but they happen so frequently that the public is desensitized to them. Voter fraud is so remarkable for its rarity. Even with all the hype given to it by Republicans, it still doesn’t happen often enough to make any kind of meaningful impact anywhere.
Perhaps the extra attention that Trump has brought to this issue helped get it a bit more exposure, but the problem is it was a Republican. Maybe if enough Republicans get caught doing it while Trump keeps inducing mass-hysteria over it, they’ll finally realize it’s backfiring and shut up.

He nearly slipped into the conservative K-hole after high school, but was redeemed by Liberal politics and 8 years of Bush. After spending far too long working for corporate America, he has settled back into life as an unapologetic progressive and general caller-out of conservative fallacy and nonsense.
