Chalk this up to sour grapes.
Ann Coulter got her ass totally handed to her on Monday night during the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe as comedian after comedian couldn’t resist making her the ultimate punchline.
“Ann is one of the most repugnant, hateful, hatchet-face bitches alive,“ Jimmy Carr quipped. “It’s not too late to change, Ann. You could kill yourself.”
“The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave,” added Nikki Glaser.
But when Coulter took her turn at the podium the crowd wasn’t impressed at all. They booed and heckled Coulter throughout as she was clearly not funny.
But Coulter thinks she is funny and during an interview on Tuesday actually claimed that Comedy Central purposefully edited her set to make her look like she isn’t funny.
“I know I got laughs when I was there,” she told TMZ, apparently forgetting or being completely unaware that the audience was laughing at her because of the jokes others were telling about her.
Hosts Harvey Levin and Charles Latibeaudiere pointed out that when they watched her set there were “very few laughs.”
“Are you saying there were more laughs and that they cut those out?” Latibeaudiere asked.
Of course, Coulter thinks it was all a conspiracy to make her look like an idiot on national television even though she had already done that all by herself long before she ever took the stage that night.
“I suspect as much,” Coulter said. “They didn’t seem to be wanting to do me any favors, and you can do a lot in film editing. I wish they had just run the whole roast straight without their editing.”
Coulter then suggested that she was so funny that Comedy Central was forced to edit the videotape so that it would appear that the professional comedians were funnier.
“It’s very easy to cut jokes or laughs out, you can make anyone look like they’re playing to a dead audience.”

Once again, Ann Coulter is playing the victim and thinks everybody is out to get her. But the truth is that she was so damn humiliated during that roast that she is desperately inventing any excuse to make it sound less embarrassing than it was. The problem is that Coulter just was not funny, and I literally re-watched her whole tortuous set just to see if Comedy Central did a bunch of editing. It certainly doesn’t appear that Coulter has a case.

Even more devastating to Coulter’s claim is that after her set Rob Lowe dropped the biggest burn of the night on Coulter based on the audience’s reaction to her.
“After seeing your set tonight, we’ve seen the first bombing you can’t blame on a Muslim,” Lowe remarked.
