Election Day is finally here but Jon Stewart wasn’t about to let it arrive without taking one last shot at Donald Trump before America casts their votes.
During The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the legendary former Daily Show host came out to thunderous applause to talk about the election, and the Republican nominee did not escape mockery.
Colbert reminded Stewart that Trump is running for president, which drew a classic spit-take from Stewart.
“Are you serious?” Stewart asked. “That angry tax and draft-dodging little orange groundhog is running for president?”
Colbert and Stewart then did a number in an effort to tell people why they need to vote, which included Stewart singing that Trump is endorsed by David Duke, that his “tiny hands might get a nuke,” that he is a wussy who might fill the courts with guys like Gary Busey just before he grabs your mother by the word that CBS wouldn’t allow Stewart to say.

Needless to say, it was an entertaining opening to Colbert’s show tonight and it’s always a pleasure to see Jon Stewart.
Stewart and Colbert are absolutely right. Every American has a duty to vote in this election. It’s, perhaps, the most important election in our lifetime and most certainly will have a tremendous effect on our future as a nation.
None of us can afford to sit at home and go uncounted, especially when the terrifying possibility of Donald Trump becoming president is on the table.
